About the event

Lighthouse keepers, fishermen, marine biologists, and sailors will share their tales of the sea in this special event celebrating Iveragh’s marine heritage, in the Old Barracks, Cahersiveen 6 – 9pm . As part of CoDesRes’s year long Storybank project this special evening in partnership with Sea Synergy and special guests will focus on Iveragh’s coastal communities’ and the seafaring heritage; cultural and natural shaped by the Wild Atlantic.

The evening will also launch Sea Synergy’s exciting new project SS Net Re-use, supported by Bord Iascaigh Mhara, a 9 month project working with local communities to re-imagine a new story for old nets.
