This was the submission for SEAI's One Good Idea from one of teams in the 2019 TY cohort we worked with. Leaners had to submit a story board and if selected, make and submit their short film. The group was selected for the regional finals and had their film shown on the big screen at the Omniplex in Cork. There are so many great things about this short, their first foray into film-making, which they developed, scritped directed, acted, filmed and produced.

Turn off the lights (TY 2019)
During CoDesRes we ran a poster project. The project introduced
the students to the basics of graphic / visual communication, understanding audiences and basic layout using canva as a simple yet effective tool. Many of the learners had never made a digital poster nor thought about audience and messaging. Often described as 'Digital Natives' our resesarch showed that while they can use the tools they have never been taught the fundamentals of medica communication
