About the event

This specially created event, by CoDesRes and Waterville Lakes and Rivers Trust will take you by bus to the Salt Marshes, where the river enters the sea and then onto Lough Derriana, with 2 stops along the way that tell the story of this incredible landscape from different perspectives. Weaving fact, fiction, history and lived experience, the guides will collapse the distance between these perspectives to increase understanding of the Cummeragh and Waterville catchment; its physiology, geology, species and even mythology.

Please arrive at 9.45 to leave at 10am prompt. Please also wrap up warm and bring lunch refreshments as required. Please note, once we are on route we will be unable to return to the car park until the event is over.
